Grand Massif Ski Domain
The Grand Massif is France's 4th largest linked ski area, offering an exceptional Alpine skiing experience with stunning views of Mont Blanc. Our chalets provide direct access to this world-class ski domain. It's also less known to tourists, when I was there this year the slopes were not crowded at all and it was mostly french and swiss people skiing, whereas resorts around (like Morzine and Chamonix) are very international. It was my favorite ski resort this year ! It has a huge panorama at the top, some wide empty blue slopes, good diversity in the slopes with for example some slopes entirely in the forest. There's also a very long blue slope ending up in Sixt where you need to take a free ski bus to come back to Samoëns.
Ski Area Statistics
- 265 km of pistes across 5 interconnected resorts
- 139 slopes: 25 green, 59 blue, 44 red, and 11 black runs
- 62 modern ski lifts for quick access across the domain
- Altitude range: 700m to 2,500m (1,400m vertical drop↗)
- 5 villages: Morillon, Samoëns, and Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval on our chalets side and on the other side Flaine and Les Carroz
Easy Access from Chalets
Our Morillon chalet 4 offer true ski-in/ski-out convenience - simply step out your door, walk a dozens steps and you're onto the slopes ! For Samoëns chalets 1, the Grand Massif Express gondola is a short walk away and gets you to 1,600m altitude in just 8 minutes, connecting you to the entire ski domain.

What to purchase
Ski Pass Discounts
We are studying options to get official discounts on ski passes and will update this section later on.
Skiing every day ? Unofficial bundling
I could try to gather people of the same sex that look like each others so we buy winter ski passes to be shared between people of different chalets at different times. They only rarely check your ski pass at ski lift, by looking quickly at pictures of people who just used the pass. We need to act fast to do that ! Please send me an email with your first name, last name, birthdate and a profile picture of you so I can try to see if we can make something happen. The promotion on adult winter ski passes is ending on November 14.
French Alps Winter Ski Pass Partnership
There is a partnership between some French Alps ski resorts where if you buy the winter ski pass you get 5 free days in other partner resorts. So if you buy a Grand Massif ski pass you get 5 days in those resorts, or if you buy the ski pass in one of those domains you will get 5 free days at Grand Massif where our chalets are.

Equipment Rentals
We will partner with local ski shops in both Morillon and Samoëns to offer After.Ski guests 10 to 20% discount on equipment rentals.
Ski Locker Facilities
Each chalet is equipped with dedicated ski storage rooms. But it's always possible to store ski and boots at a ski shop near the gondolas beginning or end. We will coordinate the group to see if some skiers want to share such lockers, and see if we can have discount prices. There might be a possibility of free such lockers at ski shops where we rent.
