The Snow
Grand Massif Ski Domain
The Grand Massif is France's 4th largest linked ski area, offering an exceptional Alpine skiing experience with stunning views of Mont Blanc. Our chalet provides direct access to this world-class ski domain. It's also less known to tourists, when I was there this year the slopes were not crowded at all and it was mostly french and swiss people skiing, whereas resorts around (like Morzine and Chamonix) are very international. It was my favorite ski resort this year ! It has a huge panorama at the top, some wide empty blue slopes, good diversity in the slopes with for example some slopes entirely in the forest. There's also a very long blue slope ending up in Sixt where you need to take a free ski bus to come back to Samoëns.
Ski Area Statistics
- 265 km of pistes across 5 interconnected resorts
- 139 slopes: 25 green, 59 blue, 44 red, and 11 black runs

- 5 villages: Morillon, Samoëns, and Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval on our chalet side and on the other side Flaine and Les Carroz
